Ewoldt's Grocery

   We are very previledged to have this business in Thedford, although the owner operator would say the priviledge is all his. With a produce isle and meat counter that is fresh and inviting, Ewoldt's is one of the hubs of the town. The sandhills breathed a sigh of relief when Alan Ewoldt purchased the store in the late '90s. He is fourth generation grocer and butcher, three days a week he helps his dad and his grandfather who still works in the family business in Stapleton that is 37 miles south on Veterans Memorial Hwy 83 and his sons help in both stores when their busy schedules allow. His wife, mom and daughters help with the accounting.

    A Christian man that loves his family town and chosen profession, Alan won several sports and music awards while growing up in the 70's, he understands the dynamics that keep a community healthy. Along with keeping us in snapping fresh produce, he employes five women part time and the best meat cutter in the state.

For the last five years, we have taken care of your daily needs. We sell a full line of groceries, dairy, and frozen and fresh meat. We also have movie rentals, medications,
household products, gifts, spring plants, etc.

We can accomodate your special orders, and catering needs. Ewoldts is open six days a week from six A.M. and to seven P.M.

Ewoldt's employs several people and supports most community projects.
